On models equipped with a radio-coded theft protection system based on the Skoda vehicle communication system arming and disarming devices procedures. On models equipped with an airbag system, refer to the Information System Security Technical arming and disarming procedures.
Remove the battery ground cable, then positive cable.
Remove the radiator cap, then raise and support vehicle.
The removal of the front tires and wheels, and engine splash shields.
Drain coolant, transaxle fluid and engine oil. Reinstall the drain plug using new washers.Do not excessively drain plugs.
Lower the vehicle, then open the hood, insofar as is feasible and safe.
Remove the cover under ABS fuse holder / relay box.
Remove air hose
, Resonance and air cleaner assembly.
Relieve pressure on fuel, as described in the information security technician.
Remove the fuel feed pressure hose and charcoal canister hose from the intake manifold.
Remove the accelerator cable of a loosening locknut and then slide the end of the accelerator cable.
Disconnect the motor electrical connector on the left side of the engine.
Remove the fuel hose and brake booster vacuum hose return.
Disconnect the motor electrical connectors and terminals using the right side of the engine.
